Baltimore Developer Interested in Creve Coeur Research Center

Baltimore-based Wexford Science & Technology LLC announced today that it had signed a letter of intent to develop 8 acres adjacent to the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center into a new commercial research center. The project would create new wet-lab space for emerging life science startups, in high demand due to capacity issues at the Nidus Center and Center for Emerging Technologies. Although the center has seen several other developers come and go in the past, today's announcement means that Wexford is seriously considering the project. If everyone ends up satisfied, construction could begin as soon as late April.
